Day Seven
Today, we met back at the church, rested, refreshed, and each of us smelling a good deal better than we have for several days. Thanks Joyce, Dale, and all the wonderful families in Bowie!!! We then began the long ride home, driving most of the day until we stopped in Springfield, OH. Even though we were just staying for the night without any performance, Maxine and Bob prepared supper for us. Maxine simply couldn’t see us preparing supper after we arrived when she could do it for us. Wow!! Thanks!!
The night was cool and everyone enjoyed Frisbee, basketball and whiffle ball games. It was a nice break from the heat and humidity of D.C.
